It's not that we both like the Phoenix Suns but here are the facts:

1.Before they traded Marion, Suns was at the top of the Western standings, even up to now, they are just 1 game behind the Lakers.

2.When they got Shaq, which is obviously better than others one would might think. (That they got an old garbage one) Which I think is the opposite. Even before Shaq arrived, Suns are already a scoring machine which they can get 10 or more points from of course, Amare and Steve plus Grant, Boris and Raja. And add Giricek for a 3pt whenever they will double team Shaq or Amare.

3.NBA is also a business which you handle people and a lot of people for that matter wherein you as the Manager should keep everybody happy, in high morale.

Keeping Marion will just make things worst for the Suns in the long haul.

Therefore, with Shaq around as a leader and an experienced veteran with 3 rings and 3 finals MVP, the Suns, OUR SUNS, will never go wrong come playoff time.

i think its close between the mavericks, spurs, and your fav. the suns...the mavs and the suns made trade to fix their weakness..and the spurs just rock...in my opinon its gonna be suns vs pistons, the the suns win

ok check it out.. in the west I say it will be the Hornets or the lakers... Hornets are 4-0 vs phoenix this seasonthat knocks them out right there... we just beat houston last night.. After their 22 game run.. they are done plus T-Mac has never made it out of the first round of th eplayoffs!! Now Dallas may be a problem but I think Th ehornets can beat them too... They dont have enough defense and CP3 totally owned Jason Kidd earlier this season.......The spurs have lostlike 5 of last 6not really turning it on thistime of year like they usually do.. This only leaves the lakers standing in the way of the Hornets~~

NOw in the east it will only come down to Detroit and Boston... I think Boston will pull it off.....

DAMN THATS A HARD ONE TO ANSWER, I BET YOU ARE GOING TO GET A LOT OF MIXED RESPONSES DUE TO THE FACT THAT THE PLAYOFF RACE IS SUCH A TOSS UP RIGHT NOW.

WITH THAT BEING SAID THOUGH, I PICK THE PHOENIX SUNS TO WIN IT, MY FAVORITE PLAYER IS SHAQUILLE ONEAL, AND I HAVE BEEN SUPPORTING HIM SINCE THE MCDONALDS ALL AMERICAN GAME AND NEVER STOPPED CHEERING THE BIG FELLA ON SINCE THEN.

THE REASON WHY IM PICKING THE SUNS IS NOT ONLY BECAUSE IM A SHAQ FAN, BUT BECAUSE THEY HAVE ALL OF THE OTHER PIECES THAT FIT AS WELL, SHAQ AND GIRICEK HAVE BEEN WONDERFUL ADDITIONS TO AN ALREADY AWESOME TEAM AND I THINK THEY CAN ONLY GET BETTER!.

SHAQUILLE IS PERFECT FOR THEIR TEAM BUT I HAVE NOT ALWAYS SUPPORTED THE TRADE, I HAD MY DOUBTS AT FIRST, BUT SHAQ'S WILL AND DETERMINATION PUTS HIM AT ANOTHER LEVEL ALTHOUGH HIS PHYSICAL BEING IS DETERIORATING WITH AGE, SHAQ HAS SUCH A GREAT ATTITUDE TOWARDS THE GAME THAT IT EFFECTS THOSE AROUND HIM, AND I THINK THAT HE WAS PERFECT FOR THAT TEAM FOR THOSE REASONS.

THEY HAVE GREAT PLAYERS THAT SCORE ALMOST TOO EASILY AT TIMES MAKING 10 POINT LEADS DISSAPEAR IN A BLINK OF AN EYE, NO LEAD IS SAFE AGAINST PHOENIX.

THEY SHOOT THE BALL AT A HIGH PERCENTAGE AND ALMOST NEVER HAVE PROBLEMS FINDING POINTS.

THERE ARE A FEW THINGS THEY NEED TO WORK ON THOUGH, DEFENDING THE BALL ON THE MOVE, AND LIMITING TURNOVERS. ANOTHER THING THEY WILL NEED COME PLAYOFF TIME IS DESIRE! THEY NEED TO FEEL LIKE THIS IS THEIR TIME, THEIR CHANCE TO WIN IT ALL! AND THEN GO OUT AND MAKE IT A REALITY!

I THINK THEY WILL WIN IT ALL AND GET THEIR FIRST (AND NOT LAST) NBA CHAMPIONSHIP

Mavs-Kidd isn't working out and Cuban is now angry with coaches

Suns/Hornets/Warriors or Nuggets/Jazz-just can't see them winning a 7 game series against HOU or LAL this year

Cavs/Magic/Raptors-not good enough to beat Boston over 7 games

lakers because they have one of the deepest line-ups in the nba and with the return of bynum they will be very dominant down low and they have kobe who has experience in the finals and can lead the team and they have a very good experienced coach who knows what he's doing in phil jackson

not boston because their big 3 don't have a lot of experience in the play offs except kg but i still do not think they can do it and the big 3 are old
